Foam density is one construction detail you can compare between beds. It does not tell the whole story, so also consider layer design, usable sleep area, stability, and your dog’s body and sleep style.
Do bolsters reduce usable sleep space?
Yes. Raised sides can give dogs a place to lean or rest their head, but they reduce the open inner area. Compare usable inner dimensions—not only the outside size of the bed.
